I’m writing to you from The North Bowl Lanes in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia, where Butler Bag is getting ready for Addae Online’s “Girls Gone Shopping,” THE shopping-extravaganza-extraordinaire! Butler Bag is featured prominently at the events entrance, and already we’ve had a dozen or more vendors come by and tell us how fabulous they think our products are. I have to admit that Melody, Ashley and I did a bang-up job at setting up and the booth looks the best it ever has.
Life at Butler Bag has been busy, to say the least! The overwhelming press we have received has resulted in the bags flying out at a breakneck pace. Two HUGE interviews were recently shot, including one with Daryn Kagan ( http://darynkagan.com/business/stories/bu_070510_organizedpurse.html) and also CBS 3’s Natasha Brown (http://cbs3.com/seenon/local_story_135194207.html). Both Daryn and Natasha were blown away by the bags organizational capability, and as everyone says when they see Jen’s creation, both exclaimed “now, why didn’t I think of that?!”
“My girls” in Stafford, Virginia, the fab five owners of La Dolce Vita, have been making the papers as well! Marialena Bridges, Nancy Dembo, Kara Grooms, Mary Dobson and Kristen Baumbach, busy high school counselors-turned-Butler Bag aficionados, have made a business out of loving their Butler Bags! We here at BBHQ couldn’t ask for nicer, more enthusiastic representatives of the Butler Bag Revolution! Read all about their amazing story at http://fredericksburg.com/News/FLS/2007/052007/05192007/284787.
The calls are still rolling in from our recent article in Success Magazine (http://successmagazine.com/article.php?article_id=179) and the featurettes in Woman’s World and Pregnancy and Newborn. And we’re making appearance across the Philadelphia area as well---on May 23rd to June 2nd we’ll be appearing at the Devon Horse Show at Scarlet Begonia’s booth; on June 2nd at the Alopecia Foundation Fund Raiser at Fancy This in North Wales, Pennsylvania; at The Career Wardrobe’s “A Perfect Fit” benefit on June 7th and The Career Wardrobe Sample Sale on June 14th in Philadelphia (www.careerwardrobe.com); and finally, on June 16th, you’ll find us at Adornment Expressive Accessories’ Butler Bag Trunk Show in Skippack, Pennsylvania. As always, to find out what Jen and the Butler Bag Crew are up to, check in to our website at www.butlerbag.com and click on “Trunk Shows/Events” or “Trade Shows.” We’re taking over the world, Butler Bag Style!
Jen and Lily recently returned from New Jersey where they attended the Millionaire Mind Event, a three-day workshop run by T. Harv Eker, author of “The Secrets of the Millionaire Mind.” The event was life-changing and highly recommended for anyone who wants to change their life in a positive manner. What the girls brought back was a renewed appreciation of the power of positive thinking, the realization that when you breed your own positivity, you breed your own results and, as Jen is famous for saying, face your fear! It’s only then that you will truly grow as an individual. And if you know our Ms. Groover, you know it’s all about being POSITIVE and bringing out your own INDIVIDUALITY!

Jen Groover News - Week of May 1, 2007
April updates….Butler Bag Rocks From Coast to Coast!
The press and events that Butler Bag has been highlighted in over the past month has been OVERWHELMING! We started off the month featured in Woman's World magazine where we offered four readers a chance to win a Butler Bag. Needless to say, the response was off the charts, and we received well over a few thousand emails.
Next up was a six-page spread in Success Magazine that featured "The Tao of Jen", so to speak, and of course the Butler Bag. We've gotten calls and orders from literally across the globe from that piece and they just keep rolling in. If you can't get the magazine, go to www.successmagazine.com and you'll find it there!
In the April 29th edition of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Jen and the Butler Bag were featured in the Image section. Fashion Editor Elizabeth Wellington loved the bag and the photographs from Larry Kesterson were great! You can find it here. http://www.philly.com/inquirer/image/20070429_Fashion_forward.html
Whew, it doesn't end there! The Senior Editor of Pregnancy and Newborn chose the Butler Bag as one of her fave picks and featured it in the latest issue.
Then we were a “favorite pick” on the radio with a spot on 96.5 (I'm working on getting that audio for us all to hear)
Earlier this month Jen did an interview with Janet Zapala/CN8 interview, it was shown this past Monday night and is now airing on Comcast on Demand---go to the Arthur Fennell show and check out our fearless leader in action!
We just shot an interview for Daryn Kagan of CNN this past week, more on that to come.
Last week, Jen did an interview with Redbook that will be running in July. The same day she did an interview for Virginia Mag that will be coming out in June and a radio show interview with Sallie Felton on Contact Talk Radio. Annnnnd, deep breath.
Today Jen had an interview for the Sky Mall magazine—a captive audience indeed--which will run in July.
Closing out the month of April in fine celebrity fashion was our swag suite at the 28th Annual Gift of Life Celebration and Awards Dinner, hosted by George Lopez at the Warner Bros. Studio in sunny Hollywood, California. Jen and Lily represented BB in fine style, schmoozing with the likes of Hilary Duff (who called the bag "genius") Eva LaRue (who was so excited she could barely contain herself), Michael Chiklis (could he possibly use his swag for the upcoming "Fantastc Four 2?") of course George Lopez and the entire cast of his show and even, the honorable Samuel L. Jackson, who deemed the Butler Bag "cool." Yes, Samuel L. Jackson thinks our bag is cool. 'Nuff said! Jen also did a live interview with George Lopez for Entertainment Tonight. There are few pictures on the website already but the professional ones will be in tomorrow-check all the celebs with their butler bags.
This coming Monday Jen will be doing an interview with CBS at 10am. This will be taped so I will post when it will be aired as soon as I know.
Keep your eyes open for more lots more announcements right here, your source for everything Butler Bag! If you have any submissions you'd like to include for everyone to see, please let me know!
